Manufacturers and designers from around the world are invited to compete for the internationally recognised mark of quality, the red dot. Red Dot Design Award

With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world.  Now the “red dot award: product design” is entering a new round. In the 18 categories the competition now consists of, the jury made up of international design experts assesses the submitted products in direct comparison on site and awards a prize to the best design achievements.

The winning products will be featured in both specialist journals and lifestyle magazines across the globe. Media collaboration includes magazines such as AXIS in Japan, and the Australian design magazine Curve.

QUT currently has a subscription to Ergonomics Abstracts, which is the only abstracting service dedicated to research in ergonomics and human factors, and is produced in collaboration with the Ergonomics Information Analysis Centre at the University of Birmingham in the UK.
